It’s kind of cool!
Definitely one of the hottest and most talked about products this season. The SwagTron T1 Hoverboard. It seems like everyone wants one! While there was just as much desire for Hoverboards last year, one company has finally gone above and beyond the call for safer Hoverboards. Maybe we finally won’t have to fear for our lives.

Safety Testing
The SwagTron T1 is a self-balancing motorized scooter. Due to the horror stories last year the SwagTron products have undergone aggressive testing to become UL 2272 Certified safe. The first of its kind to get certified for safety. It has a flame resistant frame and special BMS (battery management system) to ensure the protection of the battery against impacts and overcharging. SwagTron T1 Hoverboard Vs SwagTron Urban Rider
This SwagTron T1 Hoverboard cruises at speeds of 8 mph and above. One charge will get you over 12 miles in travel distance. This is a little better than the Swagtron Urban Rider which is rated at speeds of 7 mph with a 7 mile range. Of its many features the board comes with LED Headlights for night rides, learning mode, and low battery indicator. The headlights are similar to a car. If you turn left or right the corresponding side will blink in that direction.
Riding Modes
Pushing the power button twice will allow you to enter learning mode. Using Learning mode will restrict the top speed, allowing use of the Hover board at lower speeds until you develop a feel for controlling the hover board. Once you feel like you got the rhythm you can switch to standard mode that will allow you to max out the top speed.
SwagTron T1 Battery
The battery indicators will keep you notified at all times on the amount of charge left on the SwagTron T1. There is a battery icon that glows green and switches to red when you’re low on battery. The Hoverboard will also beep to notify you when its time for a recharge. Charging is easy with the included regulated plug adapter that takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours to charge the hoverboard.
Boarding The Swagtron T1
Getting on the Swagtron T1 hoverboard can be a little tricky the first time. Make sure you’re near something or someone you can hold on to for a second until you have both feet on the board. Place one foot on at a time but in a fairly quick motion as the board will want to fly away if you don’t take a level step. Once on the hoverboard tilt forward and backward to go back and forth, and upright to stay still. The foot pads each have there own control, tilting one foot forward and down will allow you to turn. The foot pads have also been improved from previous models for a non-slip smooth ride that is easier to control
The SwagTron T1 Hoverboard is great for just about anyone. It may take some time to learn but most people are able to pick it up rather quickly. Our advice is to keep your legs relaxed while riding and you’ll be a pro in no time. This particular model has a weight capacity of 220 lbs. Which is also a slight upgrade from the SwagTron Urban Rider’s 187 pound limit.
