Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM HD Notebook Review

When shopping for a laptop many people ask us for ideas on what kind of laptop they should buy.  These people generally know that they don’t need anything over powered or fancy, just something reliable for everyday use that will get the job done.  When asked this, we always want to steer them in the direction of a laptop with at least an I-Series processor.  The Intel Core I3 processor is a great entry level processor for all basic needs and then some.

The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM laptop is about the lowest priced Intel Core I3 processor you will find in today’s market. If you’re looking for a normal laptop with at least an I-Series processor it’s hard to find anything below the $350 dollar mark. Anything below an I-Series processor is most likely something you don’t want to mess with.

It has a 15.6 inch HD Widescreen display that is right in between large and small size laptops. This is generally the size of most normal laptops. One of the best things about this Acer Aspire is its battery life. 12 hours on a single charge beats out the majority of laptops you will find. Among other features it contains a DVD drive, SD card reader, Web Camera, a USB 3.1 and two USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0, VGA and a HDMI port. The Bluetooth and wireless support contained here are also very up to date. Supporting Bluetooth 4.1 and Dual-Band wireless for 2.4GHz and 5GHz availability.

Design

All around this laptop looks very sleek with a nice finish. From the HD display to the metallic appearance of its outer clam shell.  There is sufficient venting from the left side and easy access to component replacement from the back panel.  The touch pad is very nice, a large and smooth surface with no texture for easy finger gliding.
